AKM Motorsport turns its focus to the E4 Championship and announces the first of its drivers, confirming its continued participation in the continental series featuring Tatuus single-seaters.

Seventeen-year-old Evan Michelini, who boasts valuable experience in both karting and GT racing, will contest the full season with the team led by Marco Antonelli, officially making his debut in the category.

Born in Genoa but raised in Costa Rica from the age of two, where he moved with his family and began to make a name for himself at the start of his career, Michelini has always been supported by his father Gianfranco and coach Peppe Di Falco. He now sets out to chase the dream that has long driven him.

In preparation for his upcoming E4 Championship debut, Michelini has planned an intensive testing programme with the team. He has already hit the track at France’s Paul Ricard Circuit on March 25–26, followed by outings at Imola in early April and at Mugello a couple of weeks ago.

The continental series, promoted and organized by ACI Sport, will feature three rounds. It kicks off at Paul Ricard on the weekend of July 18–20, continues at the rolling hills of Mugello (September 12–14), and concludes with the final round at Monza on the last weekend of October.

Now entering its sixth season in Formula 4, having made its official debut in 2020, AKM Motorsport aims to field a total of three cars in 2025, with the names of the remaining drivers to be announced in due course.
